At  the German Saturday School Leicester, we learn German through activities - we play games, invent new things, cook and bake, do arts and crafts, sing songs and learn about history and geography! We strive to create a fun and stimulating  environment where children, young people and adults alike can enjoy themselves and learn German by using it actively and purposefully in reading, writing, listening and speaking. Our groups are small for lots of individual attention and interaction. There is a group for everyone - no matter what age and if beginner or bilingual!

We celebrate the customs and traditions of the German speaking countries - we have a big St Martin's celebration, a Nikolaus day, a proper German Christmas market, a huge Carnival party, an Easter egg hunt and a very popular Sommerfest each year!

We promote German language learning in the UK and beyond, and welcome everyone who would like to be exposed to and immersed in the German language. We are always happy to see new faces.

The German Saturday School Leicester leads to a German GCSE, A-level, or an internationally recognised telc exam.
