We cruise from Southampton to Hamburg, Rotterdam and back and practice German grammar on the high seas :)
The Ship
Rooms
Exterior state rooms with either 4 single beds or one double bed, ocean view, en suite bathroom and flat screen TV.
Fitness centre, climbing wall, flowrider, golf simulator, jogging track, ice rink, spa, cinema, theatre, library, casino, 3 pools, 6 hot tubs, beauty salon, bars, restaurants, cafes and lounges - all on board!!
Activities
Day 1 - Southampton
Depart: at 17:00 (boarding from 11:30)
Day 2 - Cruising, German grammar session and life on board
Day 3 - Hamburg, Germany
Arrive: at 07:00 / Depart: at 16:00
We arrive at the Gateway to the World, experience the lively restaurant and bar scene along the River Elbe, take in the maritime scenery of Hamburg Harbor, and explore the city and the German life!
Day 4 - Rotterdam
Arrive: at 10:00 / Depart: at 20:00
We arrive at Europe's biggest port and get a taste of the old city at the Old Harbour or Delfshaven, a historic marina that survived the 1940 bombardment. We relax at the Kralingse Plas lake and park, take a photo of the windmills or the extraordinary cube houses, or visit one of the many great museum the city has to offer.
Day 5 - Cruising, German grammar session and life on board
Day 6 - Southampton
Arrive: at 05:30 am (disembarking by 10:00)
Meals
Meals and soft drinks are included at the restaurants on the Independent of the Seas.
Shopping
Plenty of shopping opportunities in Hamburg and Rotterdam!
Costs
Ca. £770 per person * Three meals per day, soft drinks and activities on board are included. Excluding travel insurance (around £20), excursions and tips.
*The cruise will be booked live and the price will vary, and is expected to increase over the next few weeks and months. Our overheads for the organisation of the week are already included in the costs.

Please make your own travel arrangements to and from Southampton.
